TO THE EDITOR:

My mom is Kim Hugger, the former clerk, for the city of Harris. She was fired on May 11, 2006, 15 days before my birthday. What a nice birthday surprise! She was fired for issues that the city is still doing. Five months later, my mom and me are sitting here talking about our life, while I am shooting paper around the house. My mom looks up and so do my precious dogs with helpless eyes and my mom asked me, ìwhatís wrong?î With tears trickling down my face, I tell her about Smisson, Olson and Chaffee, why it hurts me to think about them as they have defamed and criticized my mom. She lost a job opportunity that day because of them. Smisson said nothing good about her. Remember, it has been the support of the Harris residents that has made my mom fight back for what she deserves. I also told her I am mad at the world, school and home. I would not have been if she had a job, but soon came to realize, life is not fair because of them. They never gave her a chance to correct the mistakes she may have made or offered her additional help like they have now. They never gave her warnings so she could correct any mistakes. We are preparing to move once again to live in a hotel or a one room shelter, we will lose all our pets and live a life you would have never thought of. Think about all those lies that they tell and if they can lie through my momís dismissal, just think how much these candidates have been lying to the residents. We are the family who they chose to lie to and now we going homeless and we are losing the hope in our heart.

Please think before you vote. Nelson, Larson and Pelant are the most honest people you can trust. Get the facts, know the facts, and the honest truth before you vote! I want you to remember one thing, these candidates did not manipulate me to write this letter, this is my own doing. These words come from from my heart!
