Montzka is effective

TO THE EDITOR:

As a member of the City of Stacyís Planning Commission, I encourage residents of our district to vote for the re-election of our county commissioner, Ben Montzka.

Montzka and his family are neighbors to the south of our city. They live on a hobby farm which borders the beautiful Carlos Avery Wildlife Management area. Montzka has attended a number of Stacy planning commission meetings. He has been helpful to our planning commission in giving information to use from his prospective as an experienced county commissioner and a neighbor. Montzka is concerned about the viability of Carlos Avery.

Montzka has been effective in planning for and supporting the transportation needs of our community. At the September 20th board meeting, Montzka made the motion which was approved unanimously to accept the bid to complete a number of county road projects including the mill and overlay of County Road 19 from downtown Stacy to the west county line. This project is one of a number of road projects that have been undertaken in our district during Montzkaís terms in office. Montzka has also been very helpful to the City of Stacy in beginning the process to obtain transportation funds for the Stacy bridge upgrade project.

Based upon the results of his work, Montzka deserves re-election as our County Commissioner.

David Cook, Vice Chair
City of Stacy Planning Commission
