TO THE EDITOR:

When choosing a candidate for any political office, it can and should be done with an open mind and a respect for the person running for that office either for the first time or re-election. I am an independent voter choosing the person who represents my interest now and in the future.

I have known Peter Nelson for some 25+ years as an employer, friend and Representative. He is open to all questions I have and take the time to answer in depth whatever subject I am interested in at the time. I firmly believe his track record as our Representative is above par. His recent article in the paper was an account of what was accomplished and no promises were made of what will be done but an assessment of what needs to be done. Peters will continue to do all he can for the District he represents and he will have my vote of confidence.
