TO THE EDITOR:

Whether people in Chisago County know me as a Master Gardener, a teacher, a member of the Chisago Lakes School Board (29 years already), a neighbor, or a friend, they know that I am a strong supporter of this great community of ours. I am writing this letter today because I am also a strong supporter of Tim Ryan for Chisago County Attorney.

There is nothing that frustrates me more than going into the voting booth and not knowing anything about the candidate. Thatís why I want to get the word out about Tim Ryan and why heís our best choice for Chisago County Attorney. I know Tim because he has been very involved in the Chisago Lakes schools, in his church in Lindstrom, and in community organizations such as Family Pathways. Heís the man behind the music at many local events, donating his time and his sound system for everything from school and church events to the Lindstrom Loppet and the Family Pathways ìExtra Mileî Run.

The other important thing people need to know about Tim is that he has the legal experience and skills (nearly 20 years of practice in the public and private sectors) to effectively lead our county attorneyís office.

In raising his family in Chisago County, practicing law here, and volunteering his time here, Tim Ryan has demonstrated for many years that he has our communityís best interests at heart. Please join me in voting for Tim Ryan for Chisago County Attorney on Nov. 7.
