The following candidates will debate the issues Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Abundant Life Church in North Branch, 4359 392nd St. (1 mile west of North Branch on Hwy. 95)

Who:

MN Attorney General Candidates: Lori Swanson (D); MN Solicitor General Rep. Jeff Johnson (R); MN House District 43A John James (I) ñ Independence Party candidate.

MN Senate District 17 Candidates: Sen. Sean Nienow (R) ñ District 17 incumbent; Rick Olseen (D) ñ Chisago County Commissioner.

This Forum should give people in greater Minnesota an opportunity to hear from local and statewide candidates on a variety of vital topics. Health Care, specifically, and senior related issues, in general, will provide the majority of the discussion points.

There will be an opportunity for additional questions from the general public at this event. Questions and topics will be supplied by the Greater Minnesota Health Care Coalition (GMHCC) and also members of the audience.
