A town hall meeting for all veterans will be held Monday, Oct. 16, at the American Legion Post 85, 6439 Elm St., North Branch, from 7-9 p.m.

The meeting is being sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and the Chisago County Veterans Service Office.

Representatives from the VA Regional Office at Ft. Snelling, the VA Medical Center, the Minnesota Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and other offices will be available to both inform and answer questions from veterans on their VA benefits.

Veterans will be able to learn about veterans programs that may be available to them, from compensation for service injuries, to pensions, health care, education, home loan guaranty, vocational rehabilitation, and a host of other veterans benefits (both state and federal).
