NB volleyball climbs atop of conference

The North Branch Vikings put together a win against crosstown rival Chisago Lakes Sept 26.
The Vikings won the game in three matches.
Seniors Tess Prouty-Kunshier, Megan Ranger, Kaci Ramberg and Randi Zentner helped to preserve the win, head coach Kari Francis said.
ìThese four seniors have been great leaders all year,î she said.
ìWe dominated at the net, but it all started with the constant serve-receive passing that was led by four seniors,î Francis said.
Moving right along, the Vikings added another win to their record against the Fridley Tigers.
ìWe continued to build on the momentum from Tuesdayís game and had another great showing,î Francis said.
