The Rush City boys and girls cross country team ran at the Pine City Invitational meet Sept. 5.

Senior Josh Dahl finished 10th out of 63 runners with a time of 18:02. Dahl improved his time by 30 seconds from the last meet.

Freshman Laura Hestbeck finished ninth out of 58 runners with a time of 17:39.

The junior high girls team placed first and Ike Johnson, on the junior high boys team placed first.

ìCoach Vaughan and I are seeing consistent improvement from week one,î head coach Kevin Smith said. ìWe have an extremely positive squad and we are hopeful that improvement continues throughout the season.î
