Last week, a tree was planted at the North Branch library. The tree was a gift from the Blandin Leadership Foundation in honor of John Pinsonneault, and a stone acknowledging the memorial was placed by the tree by Pinsonneaultís family.
The family, pictured, includes (l to r) Jesse Schelitzche, Missy Kosky, Jake Kosky, Lorie Pinsonneault, Tessa Kosky and Bryan Haley. Pinsonneault, a former mayor of North Branch, beloved youth coach and Marine, was killed in Iraq in October 2004 while working as an independent security agent. His family hopes that the community will take advantage of the new library and enjoy the peaceful area in the back rock garden.
