Travel back in time to the Cabin in the Woods at Apple Festival

At the Almelund Apple Festival Sunday, Sept. 17, festival goers will have the opportunity to travel down the trail guided by Pierre Jacques Pleau and his mandolin music, to the 1800s Cabin in the Woods. Fun, lively games and music await you there.

Time is 1:30 p.m. at the Amador Heritage Center. Meet at the playground.

This is sponsored by Friends of Amador Heritage Center.

Pleau will also be performing fiddle and mandolin music at the main stage area in front of the school house at 12:30 p.m.

Besides performing with the North Star Theater Company, Pleau, a North Branch resident, also teaches violin/fiddle lessons through North Branch Community Ed.

Fall lessons are just getting underway and there is still time to register. Lessons are held all year round (for ages 5 - adult, evenings at the Sunrise River Elementary School.
