Parmly Senior Housing & Services announces a new organizational name that reflects the future of the campus - Parmly LifePointes-Your Partner in Living Well...Aging Well.

"Parmly Senior Housing & Services has so long been known for our nursing home, but we are so much more and will continue to be more, particularly as we work to expand our services and programs to meet seniors' wants and needs," said Mary Cordts, executive director.

"We want to be the expert local resource for those who seek to live well and fully during the various stages of aging."

As Parmly expands its services, the new name will facilitate the community to think more broadly of the organization as Parmly LifePointes.

As part of the name change process, Parmly held focus groups with area stakeholders. One of the key points from those groups was that the Parmly name carries a great deal of recognition. Being true to the history and its reputation, it was felt that including Parmly in the name was essential.

"LifePointes" identifies that they have programs services, support groups, and wellness activities to meet varying "points of life" as each of us progresses along our individual life path.

The new logo connects with Parmly's philosophy that aging is all about living, its faith-based focus and its lakeside location.

It will identify Parmly LifePointes as a leader in providing innovative holistic wellness strategies and services for healthy, active aging.

The expansion of services across the campus creates a healthier/community living continuum that will touch the lives of those living independently as well as in congregate settings, assisted living, memory care services and skilled care.

The name officially becomes Parmly LifePointes at grand opening ceremonies this fall for the new wellness center, transitional care units and the advanced memory loss assisted living apartments.
