On Wednesday, April 4, six north Branch area military veterans received certificates from American Legion Post #85 in recognition of their longtime continuous membership.

North Branch American Legion Commander Orv Otterness presented 60-year awards to Randy Ambers in front, and back (l to r) Ellis Johnson, Raymond Brooker and Lloyd Nelson.

Roger Nelson, far right, received a 50-year award also.

Not pictured, Alfred Rydeen, received a certificate for 60 years.
