Last Saturday's warm weather drew the fishermen and women to the shores of Rush Lake in search of the first panfish of the season. Folks visiting Frandsen County Park this year will find some nice amenities, including restrooms, walking paths, picnic tables and an accessible fishing pier.

Two-year-old Sophia Masters wasn't overly impressed with the catch of the day as she and her dad, Kelly, enjoyed the afternoon. For her first time fishing, she found the most exciting part was casting her line in, not so much concern about what would be coming out.
