The Rush City boys golf team lost to Hinckley-Finlayson 198-168 on April 17. Tucker Nowak and Matt Saari were tied for the lowest scores on the team with 49.

At the same meet, the Rush City girls golf team defeated Hinckley-Finlayson by a score of 258-270.

Ashley Strenke was the low scorer for the girls with 56 points.

Head coach Wayne Peshia said the possibilities look good this year for the boys and the girls team.

"Scores were ok for just getting outside. The scores could have even been much higher except for a few high scores on individual holes, which can happen early in the year."
