Rush City residents gathered downtown last Tuesday, August 7, for the city's first ever National Night Out celebration, a chance to get to know local law enforcement and emergency services. There were fire and police demonstrations as well as crime prevention information.

At right: City Councilor Nancy Schroeder (pictured) and Jamie Amundson were in charge of coordinating the event for the Rush City Council. Schroeder also took some time to sell T-shirts and offer a wave to all the folks in Post Review land.
