Eileen P. Fleming, age 70 of North Branch, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2007 at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming.

Eileen was born on Sept. 29, 1937 in McGregor, Minnesota to Carl and Ruth (Peterson) Lindgren. She was raised in McGregor and graduated from high school in 1955. She worked for Northwest Airlines for 17 years in their printing department. She married Wallace Fleming on April 7, 1972 in Wisconsin. They moved to North Branch in 1978 where Eileen found work in the Special Ed. Department at the North Branch School district where she remained until retiring in 1999. She loved to go garage sales, loved to collect things and loved life. She also loved the time spent with her and Wally's coffee group every morning at Perkins.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace "Wally" of North Branch, son, Randy (Angel) of White Bear Lake; daughter, Tena (Kirk) Oswell of Stacy; four grandchildren, Paige, Mackenzie, Reid and Jack; sisters, Ione (Roy) Wandmacher and Dee (Ron) Wandmacher of Sun City West, AZ and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Beatrice Simpson and brother Everett Lindgren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the North Branch United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Kneen officiating. Music was provided by Thom Hardwick and soloists were Jerry and Ginger Dallin. Interment was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Mahtomedi.

Arrangements were under the direction of Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
