TO THE EDITOR:

Nowadays many people say one thing but when it comes to actually doing it, they slack off and take the easy way out. When one (especially an elected official) says that they will do something you hope they will stick with it. Well both of the North Branch County Commissioners did just that. They did not take the easy way out but kept their word of honor. I want to personally say THANK YOU to both Rick Green (North Branch North district) and Lynn Schultz (North Branch South district) for keeping the County's word on funding the MDCs 700 Meg computer emergency equipment. Budget times are hard for everyone, but if you say you will fund something then your word should be kept. It is nice to know that both of you did and represent North Branch.

Also I wish to Thank Todd Rivard (Chisago County Sheriff) as well as North Branch Police Chief Steve Forner for not only all of their hard work with the emergency equipment, but the day to day stuff that keep all the residents safe.
