The North Branch Dance Team showed strong improvement at their second kick meet at Columbia Heights on Dec. 11.

Overall, their scores improved by about five points from the first meet, though the team's place remained 7th out of 10 conference teams.

"We are hoping to have another big jump in scores at our conference competition and move up in placement," co-coach Marie Norton said.

The Dance Team's next competition is Jazz Dec. 20 at Benilde-St. Margaret' s.
