The Rush City wrestling team took 6th place out of eight teams at the Big Lake Invitational Dec. 7.

Senior Luke Carlson took third place in the 189 weight class. Kevin Johnson and Matt Bialka also finished third in their weight class.

Head coach Tim Bowland said he was happy with the team's finish.

"You could tell it was our first time out, we wrestled very well at times and very sloppy at times. We will continue to work and hopefully improve on our record from last year," he said.
