TIgers fall to East Central
By Steve Morris
Lets just say the girls had an off night.
On Thursday night, the Rush City girls basketball lost to the East Central Eagles 16-73 at home.
The girls offense struggled in the first half and didn't score until late in the first half. With three minutes left in the half, Chenona Fields had a rebound which she put back for the easy score. With Field's score, East Central's lead was 23-2.
The Tigers had a difficult time with East Central's full-court pressure as they turned the ball over and gave the Eagles easy scoring opportunities.
For complete coverage of the game, see next week's sports page.
