Since the middle of October, Raytech Auto Repair has been providing full service automobile repair in the heart of North Branch.
Owner Ray Rothmeier and technician Steve Gerlach are both from the local area and have a wealth of experience in auto repair. They are ASE certified and also have a host of certifications from General Motors and Chrysler.
Technicians since the 1980s, neither is a stranger to the auto repair business and combined, bring well over 40 years of experience to the local business community.
That experience and attention to detail allows Raytech the confidence to tackle just about any job that comes its way. From the simple, like tire repair, to complicated transmission of electrical problems, Raytech has it covered.
"We do high quality work, and we'll stick with a job until it's finished," said Rothmeier. Where other shops might give up on difficult electrical problems or other drive-ability issues, Raytech will see to it that the job is completed as timely as possible.
Raytech has plenty of space to work, with two hydraulic lifts and enough bay space for another two to three cars, and work on all makes and models.
Need a tow? Raytech also subcontracts towing, which means that, from the moment a car breaks down, Raytech begins to take care of it.
Rothmeier thinks the timing of his decision to go into business for himself was right. "It's a good time to be independent," he said, referring to his age, around 40, and his experience.
