TO THE EDITOR:

Chairman Robinson you're admitted first-ever Letter to the Editor failed to offer a public apology to Chisago County citizens for your recent lapse in judgment. Your comments could also be perceived as a threat by a public official to a private citizen; yet another problematic action.

Instead of professionally answering some procedural questions I raised, or explaining your position, the response was just another desperate attempt to shift blame from yourself and this Board. You ironically managed to validate every problem.

Dysfunction of this County Board is real. The vote Robinson cast along with Commissioners Gustafson, Green and Schultz to accept the higher bidder for a newspaper publication was in direct violation of State bidding law and could be prosecuted. We need our government leaders to follow rules and display greater integrity.
