Arnold Manfred Carlson, age 84, of North Branch, died on Feb. 4, 2007 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Rush City, Minn.

Arnold was born in rural North Branch to Manfred and Minnie Marie (Anderson) Carlson on March 14, 1922. He was raised on the farm near North Branch and attended North Branch High School. Arnold worked on the farm, and the Almelund Creamery. Later in life he worked for Fred Boldt Paint and Wallpaper in St. Paul for 21 years.

Arnold is survived by his sister Melva Carlson, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch with Rev. Susan Schoon officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is one hour before the service.
