The Chisago Lakes Friends of the Library will be hosting their traditional "Snowflake" used book sale in conjunction with the local Celebration of the Lakes the last weekend in January.

Hundreds of books will be on hand at very reasonable prices. There will be hardcover books available, a huge selection of paperbacks as well as a bonus section of science fiction/fantasy books.

The book sale will be 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Community Room at the Chisago Lakes Area Library. The library is located on the south side of Hwy. 8 on the east edge of Chisago City. Use the Shoquist Lane intersection traffic light to get to the access road.

Got some extra books around the house to share? Donations of new and gently used books will be gratefully accepted for this sale until noon Friday, Jan. 26. Drop them off at the library with a note that they are for the book sale. Book sale funds are used to help fund the Summer Reading program and special events such as book author appearances.
