Why not sooner than later?
TO THE EDITOR:
Smokers have rights, but so do the rest of us. It's my understanding that your liberty ends when you infringe on mine. I could write reams about smokers, smoking and COPD. But why bother. The smokers refuse to believe that their smoking is causing any problems or that there is such a thing as COPD. They can't wait to light up and blow their unhealthy, stinky habit on the rest of us.
We are coded and regulated almost to death, and I would be the last one to ask for more mandates. The smokers are going to quit sometime; why not sooner than later?
