The final round of the North Branch Area Middle School Geography Bee was held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at North Branch Middle School.
Eight NBMS students vied for the crown of "school champion," having survived written tests of different geography questions to get to the final round. After several questions, Colin Ehrnriter, a 6th-grade student at NBMS, answered more questions correctly to win the championship. Ehrnriter will now take a 70-question written test and if he scores in the top 100 of students in the State of Minnesota, he will go on to compete at the state level in April.
