When the thermo-meter heads to 100 degrees, folks head to the water to keep cool. Such was the cast this weekend in Chisago County.

At Fish Lake beach, a county park, they cooled off by playing in the sand near the shore, floating along on water toys and jumping off the raft.

Out on the lake they were boating, fishing, water skiing, tubing and just plain taking advantage of fun on the water in the heat of summertime.

On Sunday afternoon, however, the fun was briefly interrupted by a passing thunderstorm which brought along with it a break in the hot temps.
