The Chisago County Fair starts Thursday July 12 and runs through Sunday, July 15. There is a host of free events each day, including lumberjack shows, 4-H?/?FFA shows, and exhibit buildings.

On Thursday, enjoy the Century Farm awards at 7 p.m. On Saturday, there will be free games for the kids (10 and under) all day.

In the grandstand, see moto-cross on July 12, at 7 p.m. On Friday and Saturday there will be demolition derby starting at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, tractor pull action starts at 4 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $4 for kids 12 and under.

The 2007 Chisago County Fair Parade is this Saturday, July 14, at 3 p.m. in Rush City. The route will be the same as last year starting at the Rush City Industrial Park, proceeding down S. Field Ave., and then turning onto 4th St. and proceeding toward the Fairgrounds. There are approximately 70 entries this year with many new participants. The Grand Marshall will be Scott Friday.
