Joe Triplett, PE, Assistant Chisago County Engineer has informed the Post Review that they are continuing grading operations on the County Road 7 road improvement project in Nessel Township.

He said they should be starting the muck excavation at Evergreen Ave. soon. This will require a lot of digging and filling like the two previous areas.

The project foreman, Triplett said, expects this will take 4-5 days of work at this intersection (west of the freeway overpass).

The contractor, Midwest, expects to have the major grading operations finished the week of July 30.

The next couple of weeks will see some restoration work and potentially some more gravel operations.

Restoration work will consist of seeding. Any sod work will be done in August. Bituminous pavement is expected during the first couple of weeks of August.
