At right: Sponsored by the North Branch Rotary, the Dress Like a Clown contest drew a small crowd Saturday, but those attending had a grand time in Central Park, North Branch. That included Rebecca Perales, age 6, who won the contest in the 4-7- year-old category.

The Carson & Barnes Circus will be held on Friday, Aug. 3., in the North Branch Middle School parking lot. Performances are at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
