The Rush City Music & Art Festival is Aug. 18-19, in the downtown Rush City park. There are many opportunities for young people to participate.

At 10 a.m. Saturday morning award-winning Clogging Premier, the fantastic young cloggers who have won awards across the country, will be performing.

At 11 a.m. Monroe Crossing will present a special children's program you won't want to miss!

Saturday and Sunday afternoons will have art tables, games, and lots of fun so be sure to come to the park and be a part of it.

There is also an art contest where you can submit an original drawing of "My Rush City" for cash prizes. Just submit an 8 1?2 x 11 work of any medium that depicts your ideas of Rush City. Deadline is Aug. 10.
