Add Copper Woods Cafe to the short list of restaurants open in Stacy.

Located across the street from Tim's County Cupboard, Copper Woods Cafe opened its doors June 25 and has been taking it one step at a time ever since.

Now, a month later, owner Darrell Carlberg is ready to aggressively move forward.

Dishing out lunch and dinner buffets are what Copper Woods Cafe does best.

"Our main feature is our buffet during lunch and dinner," owner Carlberg said.

The restaurant also features wireless internet for people to catch up on e-mail or surf the Web over a meal or coffee.

Aside from the buffet, the restaurant offers a full breakfast menu, homemade pies, along with burgers and sandwiches. For health conscience customers, Copper Woods Cafe is smoke free.

Meal prices range from $4.99 to $14.99 and everything on the menu can be taken to go.

Customers at the new restaurant will be greeted with employees who value customer service and a consistent food quality, Carlberg said.

Carlberg, who also owns The Creamery Crossing in Isanti, said he is always seeking ways to reinvent himself and the restaurant.

"Being able to keep people happy and working with them gives me satisfaction," he said.

Cooper Woods Cafe is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In the future, Carlberg hopes to expand to a banquet center, different daily menu specials and a loyalty reward program.

"We offer a nice home feeling and a place you can bring the family," he said.
