Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau was one of over 5,000 non-profit organizations across the country that participated in ReZoom.com's "A Better World" contest during the month of March. YSB was selected the Region 8 winner, and received a $5,000 prize.

YSB learned last Friday that they are among the 10 finalists competing for the National Grand Prize. The organization that receives the most votes through Aug. 10 will win $100,000. YSB needs your help. Here's how:

STEP 1: Log in (upper right corner). 

• If you voted during the regional competition last spring use your previous user name and password. If you've forgotten your user name and password, ask for the reminder by e-mail.  

• If you did not vote in the regional competition, you will need to fill out a brief form before you can vote. Follow the prompts.

STEP 2: VOTE!  Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau is the 9th organization in the list. You will immediately receive a "Thank you for your vote" e-mail. This e-mail provides a link that you can send to family and friends. Encourage everyone to vote.

STEP 3: Vote every day through Aug. 10. Write yourself a reminder to vote every day. Each time you vote, remind your friends to vote.
