Can't even ride on our own land?
TO THE EDITOR:
The residents of Harris need to know that if they drive snowmobiles, motor scooters, trail bikes, mini-bikes, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, dune buggies, go-carts, and hovercrafts, that the Harris Council is proposing to put new restrictions that would restrict riding within 300 ft. of the boundary of adjacent residential property. This would mean that most of the Harris tax payers could not ride on their own land. How are we going to mend fences, ride for pleasure, snow plow, or even mow on our own property? Please attend the meeting on July 9 at City Hall for Public comments at 6:15 pm.
