TO THE EDITOR:

With all of the negativity surrounding, and written about the local motocross track, we as residents of Harris and lifelong members of the area, wanted to voice our support for Marv Stai and what he is doing for the local riders of this area. It's not every day that you meet someone who has a passion about something and so graciously shares it openly and freely with his community. This man constructed, and maintains a motocross track all while abiding by the conditions relentlessly enforced upon him by the city and citizens of Harris, without asking anyone for help or admission fees. I'm sure the little he gets in donations hardly makes up for the money and time he spends to do this. Our son is a rider at Marv's track and we can't thank him enough for the opportunity of a safe place for our child to ride so close to home. We hope that we will be able to continue to visit his track for many years to come.
