Harry Potter fans, gather at the Rush City Library because it's time for another Harry Potter trivia contest.

According to librarian Jeanette Monthye, the contest has already started. People have been busy taking the trivia quiz. Anyone passing with 100 percent is entered into a drawing. This year there will be 20 copies of the newest and final chapter of the Harry Potter books given away in this exciting summer library contest.

Adults can take the test, too.

In addition, following the four-house theme, the librarian, with her "sorting hat" will divide the entrants into houses and one person from each house will take home a scarf in the colors of that house.

Right now, busy knitting those scarves is Korbi Luttrell.

The colors are: scarlet and gold for Godric Gryffindor, blue and bronze for Rowena Ravenclaw, yellow and black for Helga Hufflepuff and green and silver for Salazar Slytherin.

Luttrell has already taken the quiz and did not pass, so she is planning to retake it. She noted last week that her two sons have both won Harry Potter contests in the past. The family is eagerly anticipating the coming of the latest book and Luttrell said she and the kids will be fighting over it, "unless we read it aloud."

"It's been a long wait for this one to come out," she continued.

The family members are huge fans of the Harry Potter books. In the past they waited it out until each had read the book and then discussed it among themselves and then they've gone to the library where they continue the discussion with the librarian and others.

Besides the Harry Potter contest, children in the Rush City area will want to get in on the summer reading program which started last week and runs through July 28. Stop by the library and see what the librarian has in store for kids this summer.
