TO THE EDITOR:

Dear sisters and Post members of Grothe-Jacobson 6692 of Rush City.

We desperately need your attendance at our monthly meetings and your support of paying your dues so we can support our veterans who are serving so proudly for your freedom.

Wed. March 21 is Legislative Day at the Capitol. We need to demonstrate our interest and concern for veterans issues to our legislatures at 9 a.m.

Soon it will be poppy time, we have poppy cards you can donate to in memory of, or in honor of, any veteran living or deceased. We will post them in the Post home, also we will be selling on the street. Buy and also come help sell. We need your support.

Our meeting will be Monday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. Our April meeting will be on the 16th.

Please come and take an office or vote for whom you would also like to see in office.

To those who have been ill, we wish you a speedy recovery and to those who have lost a loved one, our sympathy is with you.

Remember, working together brings peace and comfort to our veterans.
