11 girls letter at RPHF gymnastic


A RPHF gymnast hits the vault during the team's last home meet against Grantsburg in February. The team finished with eight wins, two losses and a tie.

The gymnastics conglomerate of Rush City/Pine City/Hinckley-Finlayson finished the year with eight wins, two losses and a tie.

Season highlights

Chisago Lakes Invitational: Team placed 4th. Bethany Dahl placed 7th on Bars, 4th on Beam, and 5th Floor. Rachel Miller placed 2nd on vault, 3rd on Beam, 7th on Floor, and 5th in the All-Around.a

Princeton Invitational: Team placed 4th. Michelle Graff placed 12th on beam, and 14th in the All-Around. Kaitlyn Dahl placed 8th on bars. Rachel Miller placed 9th on Vault, 13th on the Bars, and 8th in the All-around. Bethany Dahl placed 3rd on the bars and 6th on the Beam.

Section 7AA meet: Team placed 8th of 9 teams. Bethany Dahl placed 17th on the bars. Rachel Miller placed 15th on the beam and 18th in the All-Around. Cambridge won this meet and advanced to the state meet. 

The team has three seniors graduating this year, Bethany Dahl, Jana Pearson and Dionne Conyn.

The team is coached by Dianne Meier and Jessica Miller.

Letter Winners:

Rush City: Bethany Dahl, Kaitlyn Dahl, Shelbi Logue, Jamie Bottomley.

Pine City: Jaimie Reis, Lindsay Isaacson, Sarah Sederberg.

Hinckley: Rachel Miller, Michelle Graff, Melissa Linden, Rachel Vrudny.
