Freshman Sara Swanson broke her own school record in the 400 meter run with a time of 100.57. Swanson took second in the 100 dash and third in the 200 dash.
Record breaking aside, the boys finished in second place overall out of seven teams at the meet. They finished with 353 points, which was 52 points away from Grand Rapids.
ãYou have to give a lot of credit to the Grand Rapids team for how well they competed at this meet,ä head track coach Brian Hasleiet said.
Jared Grams won the 100 and 200 while Nick Ramberg won the mile and 800.
