Ruby C. Erlandson was born on the family farm December 21, 1924 in North Branch, to Victor and Sophia (Anderson) Erlandson. She was a lifetime resident of the North Branch area. She worked the family farm with her brother David.

In her later years when she was unable to work on the farm, she moved to town and lived at the Northern Oaks. Ruby died peacefully on Friday, May 11 at the Green Acres Country Care Center at the age of 82.

She was a devoted lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church of North Branch.
She loved to sing with her group the Joyful Voices, read and spend time with friends and family.

Ruby is survived by nieces Arnice Carlson of Alexandria, Corrine Dreckman of Lindstrom, LaRae Anderson of Taylors Falls, Marlene Zollner of Shafer, Twila Lein of Coon Rapids and Paulette Erlandson of Lincoln, Neb.; nephews Mike Erlandson of Blaine and Orris Erlandson of Lindstrom and several cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and one sister and nephew Marvin Erlandson.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch with Rev. Loren Mellum officiating. Organist will be Debra Aulich with soloist John Ekstrom. Private interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, North Branch.
