Fletcher, Nowak finding their groove for RC golf

Both the boys and girls golf team lost at the Isle Meet April 24. Isle edged the boys by seven strokes 177-184. Thoren Fletcher shot the low score for the boys with a 43. Fletcher was also the runner-up medalist for the meet.
Head coach Wayne Peshia said it was a tough day for the boys because three starters were missing.
"Although the replacements did very good," he said.
Ashley Strenke shot a 51, which ended up being girls lowest score. Isle came out on top, 202-226.

On the 4th monday of the month, the girls and boys teed off with Aitkin on the Bullrush Golf Course.
The boys were defeated 189-207 while the girls suffered a similar fate, falling 213-241.
Tucker Nowak shot the low score for the boys with a 48 and Strenke shot the low score for the girls with a 53.
"Was not a good night -- everyone seemed to have one problem or another. Nights like that will happen, you just hope it doesn't happen to all on the same night," Peshia said.

April 19 brought the teams against Onamia. The boys won their first meet of the year, 195-212. Tucker stayed in the groove, ending with a 43 and the meet runner-up. The girls lost 243-198.
