What's up with the road?

TO THE EDITOR:
Yesterday while out running errands I decided to stop in Harris for a late lunch. I turned south on to Chisago County Road 89 and to my disbelief and amazement the south bound lane veers to the west in front of Big Daddy's and there are vehicles parked in the south bound lane. I had to wait for quite some time for northbound vehicles to get past and then I had to pull over into the northbound lane crossing a solid double yellow to continue south. Did the road painters stop at Big Daddy's for lunch or was that intentionally done?

I along with every human that has had to make the unlawful maneuver through town since it was painted is wondering who made the decision to do that and why. The next time you drive through the city of Harris be careful as not to drive south on County Road 89. You could get a ticket.
