RC National Honor Society induction ceremony
Rush City Area High School held its National Honor Society induction ceremony Monday night , Nov. 2. There were 17 new inductees.
Maureen Guentzel, NHS advisor, said becoming a NHS member is one of the highest honors because if recognizes the whole person.
Students who are chosen for NHS must have a GPA of B or better but are also participating in a range of other activities, including community service. The principles of the National Honor Society include Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character.
At right: Megan Drevecky, president of NHS at Rush City high school, led the inductees in reciting the pledge of NHS. Each new inductee received the NHS pin.
