It took a week and a half and over 1000 boxes, but Senior Branch Librarian Jeanette Monthye (right) and Library Aid Jane Perkins (left) were able to secure the over 23,000 items in the Rush City Library in preparation for remodeling. That effort was aided by about 13 volunteers on a Saturday, who did about a third of the work.

The remodel, which should take four to five weeks, will transform the library from 3,000 square feet to 7,000 square feet. For more on the library remodel, see this week's print edition of the Post Review.
