The afternoon coffee hour just won't be the same at Golden LivingCenter (formerly Hillcrest) in Rush City.

Recreation director Kathy Coury has retired after 30 years of smiles, dances and slides on her flute. But most of all, the folks there will miss her abounding enthusiasm. An open house was held in her honor Wednesday, Oct. 10, her last day, and many people stopped by to say goodbye and good luck.

Coury plans to spend more time with her parents and grandchildren now.But she'll be back now and again for the music she said.
