Seasonal shop enters busiest time of year

The Holiday season means one important thing for one local entrepreneur -- her gift shop opens.
Holiday Traditions gift shop is now open and ready to serve the community, with reasonably priced Christmas gifts and goodies, owner Pat Ellingson said.
Holiday Traditions gift shop is located on Arbor Acres Tree Farm in North Branch and has been open for five seasons.
The last two seasons, the gift shop has been open reduced hours due to an illness in the owners family, Ellingson said.
From now until Thanksgiving, the gift shop will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. After Thanksgiving, Holiday Traditions will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The gift shop stocks items such as Minnesota Morning CD's, Christmas puzzles, tree ornaments, decorated wreaths, Redwing Pottery and much more.
Ellingson said customers can make it a one stop shop.
"Customers can do everything here. They can cut down their tree and get a gift at the same time."
