Marie E. Miller, age 84, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. She was born January 6, 1923 in White Bear Lake, Minn., to Napoleon & Mary (Peloquin) Arcand. She married Marvin Miller on December 17, 1942. She worked as a clerk for Donaldsons in St. Paul, Minn., for many years.  Marie grew up in White Bear Lake where her family was recognized for being the largest family in the area.

She is survived by one brother: Clement (Dorrie) Arcand of Bloomer, three grandchildren: Marie, Joseph Jr., & Cyrel; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Marvin in 1975; one son: Joseph in 1995; 10 brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with Deacon Richard Kostner officiating.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday. Committal services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at Fort Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn., with a visitation from 11a.m. until the time of service at the chapel.
