Back to the basics
The annual Rock Creek Saw and Threshing Show takes people down a historical path to keep alive such activities as threshing, rock crushing, sawmill work, butter churning in a jar and loom weaving. And, of course, there are always lots of tractors to appease the appetite for those grand old machines.
At right: Al Jeske of Browerville demonstrated his miniature saw mill he made himself at 1/16 scale, and it really worked. See more pictures of the show in this week's print edition of the Post Review.
