North Branch senior Brittany Gustafson is overjoyed after being crowned Homecoming queen at the North Branch High School auditorium, Sept. 11.

Moments earlier, Cameron Gillette was crowned King.

It was the North Branch's 75th annual Homecoming court coronation, a kick-off for all Homecoming related events.

Wednesday is Pirate Day followed by Fashion Disaster Day and Vikings Color Spirit Day on Friday.

The festivities end Friday with a parade starting at 4:45 and a football game against Irondale. The game starts at 7 p.m. and a dance will follow the game.
