The Pine City/Rush City boys hockey team couldn't find a break as they the were shut out 6-0 against Two Harbors Jan. 12.

Head coach Tim Schlichting said the crux of the loss was his team didn't have players going to the net to finish.

"You can't win a hockey game without scoring," he said.

Schlichting noted it wasn't because of lack of hard work the boys lost.

"Just nothing was paying off."

Up next, the boys play Mora at home on Jan. 17 and Webster at home Jan. 18.

"We are looking forward to a physical game against Mora and Webster this weekend. We will be spending a lot of time on special teams this week," Schlichting said.
